By engaging Tevis Engineering Solutions for any service, submitting a support ticket, or using this website, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Tevis Engineering Solutions provides IT support, technical consulting, data destruction, knowledge transfer, 3D printing, and related technology services to individuals and small businesses in the Cleveland, Ohio area and remotely. Services are provided on an as-needed basis as well as through managed support agreements.
Formal engagements for recurring or project-based work may be governed by a separate written Statement of Work (SOW) or Service Agreement. In the absence of a signed agreement, these Terms of Service apply as the default governing document.
The agreed scope of work is defined at the start of each engagement. Any changes to scope require a written change order before additional work proceeds. Verbal approvals are not binding. Change orders are typically issued and confirmed within 24 hours of agreement.
Important: While we take every reasonable precaution, hardware repair, OS reinstalls, data destruction, and other technical work carry inherent risk of data loss. You are solely responsible for ensuring adequate backups exist before engaging any service that touches your data. We are not liable for data loss unless caused by gross negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tevis Engineering Solutions' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to services shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
Both parties agree to treat as confidential any proprietary, business, or personal information exchanged during the service engagement. We will not disclose client information to third parties except as required by law or to fulfill the requested service (e.g., engaging a parts supplier).
Any deliverables, custom scripts, configurations, or documentation created for a client as part of a paid engagement belong to the client upon full payment. General tools, templates, and processes developed by Tevis Engineering Solutions remain our intellectual property.
Services may not be used to facilitate illegal activity, unauthorized access to systems, creation of malicious software, or violation of any applicable laws or regulations. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for any reason, including suspected misuse.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes shall be resolved in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Current pricing is published on our Pricing Sheet. Rates may be updated from time to time; any increase will be communicated before the start of a new billing period.
Invoices are issued at the conclusion of each service session, at the end of each billing period for recurring services, or upon milestone completion for project work. Invoices are delivered by email.
PayPal is the preferred payment method. Payment can be submitted via our Pay Invoice page. For alternative payment arrangements, contact us directly.
Balances outstanding beyond the due date are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% APR). Service may be suspended on accounts more than 14 days past due without prior arrangement. We will provide notice before suspending service.
Invoice discrepancies must be raised in writing within 7 days of invoice issue. Undisputed portions remain due on the original schedule. Contact tyler.m.tevis@gmail.com or call (814) 384-5117.
Due to the nature of time-based technical services, completed work is generally non-refundable. If you are unsatisfied with a service outcome, please contact us within 7 days of service completion and we will work to make it right, up to and including a re-attempt at no additional charge at our discretion.
